He is the tallest boy in the class को Negative में बदलने पर अर्थ वही रहना चाहिए — No other boy in the class is as tall as he is।
Everyone likes him. → No one dislikes him. - He is the best boy. → No other boy is as good as he. (or He is better than all other boys.) - It is always hot here. → It is never cold here.
No one dislikes him. → Everyone likes him. He never fails. → He always succeeds. There is nothing but water. → There is only water.
He is a good player. → Is he not a good player? She knows me. → Does she not know me?
Is he not a good player? → He is a good player. Who does not love his country? → Everyone loves his country. Can anyone deny the truth? → No one can deny the truth.
What/How वाले Exclamatory वाक्यों में very/great जोड़कर Assertive बनता है। What a beautiful garden it is! → It is a very beautiful garden. How fast he runs! → He runs very fast. Alas! He is ruined. → It is a matter of sorrow that he is ruined.
Assertive वाक्य में What/How जोड़कर Exclamatory बनता है। It is a very beautiful garden. → What a beautiful garden it is! He runs very fast. → How fast he runs! I wish I were a bird. → O that I were a bird!
Superlative में 'the + V3 + of/in' को Comparative में 'comparative + than any other + Singular' से बदलें। The Ganga is the longest river in India. → The Ganga is longer than any other river in India.
Comparative में 'comparative + than any other' को Positive में 'No other + as + Positive + as' से बदलें। Ram is taller than any other boy. → No other boy is as tall as Ram.
Ram is the tallest boy in the class. → No other boy in the class is as tall as Ram.
No other boy is as tall as Ram. → Ram is taller than any other boy.
I saw a wounded bird. (Simple) → I saw a bird that was wounded. (Complex)। He worked hard to pass. → He worked hard so that he could pass.
He must work hard or fail. → He must work hard or he will fail. Besides being lazy, he is careless. → He is not only lazy but also careless.
He is so weak that he cannot walk. → He is too weak to walk. I know that he is honest. → I know his honesty.
|---|---|
| Affirmative → Negative | He is honest. → He is not dishonest. |
| Assertive → Interrogative | He is good. → Is he not good? |
| Assertive → Exclamatory | It is very beautiful. → What a beautiful sight! |
| Active → Passive | She sings a song. → A song is sung by her. |
| Direct → Indirect | He said, "I am ill." → He said that he was ill. |
| Simple → Complex | A wounded bird → A bird that was wounded |
| Positive | Comparative | Superlative |
|---|---|---|
| No other boy is as tall as Ram. | Ram is taller than any other boy. | Ram is the tallest boy. |
| Very few rivers are as long as the Ganga. | The Ganga is longer than most other rivers. | The Ganga is one of the longest rivers. |
|---|---|
| only → nothing but | He has only a rupee. |
| too...to → so...that cannot | too weak to walk |
| No other + as + Positive + as | Superlative से Positive |
| + er than any other | Positive से Comparative |

Affirmative-Negative, Assertive-Interrogative, Exclamatory-Assertive, Degrees of Comparison
