Migration is the phenomenon in which birds and animals move from one place to another to avoid harsh climatic conditions and to find food and breeding grounds. For example, the Siberian crane migrates to the Bharatpur bird sanctuary in India in winter to escape the extreme cold of Siberia. Migration is an important survival strategy of wildlife.
